  Room was ok. I got the 2 queen room on the main floor. It was pretty clean. Nothing too special. It was nice to have the door off the back to bring in luggage. Reception was bilingual. Included breakfast was a standard toast, muffin, cereal. My biggest complaint was that they sent someone out to trim the hedges with a noisy motorized hedge trimmer at 830 am. I thought that was pretty inconsiderate for a hotel (or anyone for that matter).

  Before you stay in this motel, consider what happened to me and the treatment I received.. I have contacted this motel at least 9 times, including their parent company, Choice Hotels, about my stay and they have completely ignored me. Their parent company Choice Hotels, is even worse. They refuse to even talk to me, because I had to seek medical attention after a stay there. I was bit by a tick, that was in the bed I slept in. It attached itself to my leg and stayed there all night. I felt a sharp pain in my leg a few minutes after getting into bed and rubbed at where the pain came from but never got up to look, as it stopped. I thought it was from the 10 hours driving, cramped in a truck with my husband. I saw a black mole like spot on my leg after getting in the shower in the morning, I wear glasses so I couldn't tell, in the shower what it was, and used a washcloth to wipe it off. All they did at the desk was take a picture of it. We had a ground level room, as we had a truck loaded with some furniture, and wanted to keep an eye on it. I know those units are used for smokers and people travelling with pets, so I can only assume, a dog slept in the bed I was in and if the blankets weren't turned down, they wouldn't have changed the bedclothes. They told me the tick probably came in the room when the door was left open for fresh air. I find that hard to believe, ticks are found in long grass not parking lots. I had to have bloodwork, had to take antibiotics as a precaution and am still waiting for the test on the tick as to whether it carried any diseases. There are so many now, it takes longer to test the tick than the human. I hope nothing happens to you in one of these hotels, , because you won't get any sympathy from this business.

  It's fine. Overpriced but fine. Next time I'll drive another 2kms and save $40.

  The room is very nice and spotlessly clean. The breakfast included in their dining room is great. The location is excellent right off the autoroute. Restaurants are within 5 minutes from the hotel.
